Southwest within the Noongar Nation.

Traditional land extends from Pinjarra to

Harvey and Leschenault Inlet through to the

lower reaches of the Murray River.

language. The people are mostly non-fluent

understanding of the language.

Sporadic language recording and analysis

was undertaken by pastoralists and linguists

in years gone by. However, further research

continues to retrieve and develop a substantial

database of the language and all clans of the

Southwest. Further research continues to

retrieve and develop a substantial database of

the language and all clans of the Southwest.
